Let me start by saying I don’t usually buy tilapia because I prefer to buy wild fish. But when I occasionally buy it, I am reminded of how good it is and not fishy tasting. Tilapia is a lean fish high in protein, low in calories, and full of vitamins and minerals, like selenium. I know many of you eat tilapia, but if you don’t, feel free to swap it for pollack, flounder, sole, or any white fish fillet you like.
How to Broil Tilapia
There are many easy ways to cook fish, but broiling is honestly the easiest, and it cooks so fast, which is always a dinner win! To broil tilapia, place it on a sheet pan or broiler rack lined with foil if you wish, and broil it on low six to eight inches from the heating element. There’s no need to flip the fish as it will cook through.
